VTB to Open Russia’s First Banking Branch in Tehran
MOSCOW (Dispatches) -- Russia’s second-largest lender, VTB, on Sunday announced its plan to upgrade its representative office in Tehran to a branch.
VTB said in a statement that it made the decision amid the prospect of growing economic and trade relations between Iran and Russia and in response to demands by Russian businesses to receive banking services in Iran.
